## Safety information

Before you begin installing your Vicon IR lights, note the following safety information.

> ❌ To reduce the risk of strangulation, if the flexible cabling connected to the Vicon IR light is within arm's reach, ensure that the cabling is effectively fixed to the nearest structure.

> ❌ **Warning**  
> ❌ To prevent the lights from falling and injuring people or damaging equipment, we recommend that you tether them to their mounts with safety bonds.

> ⚠️ **Caution**  
> ⚠️ IR Light (850nm)  
> ⚠️ EN62471 Risk Group 0 (Exempt). This product emits infrared light. Do not stare directly at the source when in operation.

> ⚠️ **Caution**   
> ⚠️ Ensure all tests are undertaken by a qualified, trained engineer. Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times

> ℹ️ **Insulation class**  
> ℹ️ The IR light is Class III for insulation.

Vicon Markerless systems are for technicians working in Virtual Reality (VR) experiences, and in previsualization in film, television and game cinematics, and in game development.

This guide contains brief installation, safety and warranty information for the Vicon IR lights that are supplied as part of the Vicon Markerless system.
