# About Tracker 4.2

Tracker 4.2 is the second point release of Tracker 4, which is dedicated to tracking rigid bodies and providing highly accurate 6-DOF data with low latency. This release includes several new features and enhancements. Details of the new features of Tracker 4.2 are described in [New features in Tracker 4.2](#Changes).

## Scene meshes

This version of Tracker supports the use of scene meshes.

Scene meshes can help you set virtual environments within your Tracker workspace and do not require any tracking markers.

To add a Scene mesh to your workspace, navigate to the Tracking panel and select **Import scene mesh**. Scene meshes must be in FBX format to be visualized.

For more information, see [Work with scene meshes](https://vicon-help.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Tracker42/pages/258312567) in the *Vicon Tracker User Guide*.

## Operating in Simplified Chinese

For readers of Simplified Chinese, this release of Tracker has introduced an ability to change the native language of the user interface.

For more information, see [Operate Tracker 4 in Simplified Chinese](https://vicon-help.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Tracker42/pages/258312463) in the *Vicon Tracker User Guide*.

## Updates to Graph Plots

The list of available graph types has been split across two menus and several channels have been added to the Graph Plot selection.

### Channel additions

The following new channels have been added to the Graph Plots view:

- **Camera Position** outputs the position of a calibrated camera relative to the origin. If the **Difference Between** channel type is selected, selecting a camera can output the distance between that camera and a tracked object or marker.
- **Labeled Fraction** outputs the fraction of markers which are tracked on each object.

For more information, see [Graph Plots reference](https://vicon-help.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Tracker42/pages/258312294) in the *Vicon Tracker User Guide*.

A new Auto channel has also been added. When a channel source is selected, Tracker automatically adds the primary channel type to the Graph Plots. For example, if you select an object in the **Tracking** panel, the Position and Rotation channel type is automatically displayed.

### Graph menu separation

The Graph Plots menu has been streamlined and split into two menus:

- The **selected channel type** displays channel-dependent data which requires you to select a channel source, for example, an object in the **Tracking** panel.
- The **global channel type** displays independent channels that do not require you to select a channel source, for example, the number of objects currently tracked (Tracked Count).

For more information on either of these improvements, see [Graph Plots reference](https://vicon-help.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Tracker42/pages/258312294) in the *Vicon Tracker User Guide*.
