Shogun Post 1.19 and later enables you to render the current 3D view or Cameras view to a video file (.*mov*), known as a playblast, from the user interface. Playblasts are useful for collaboration as you can easily share the video with your coworkers, even with those who don’t have access to Shogun. They provide a quick reference before you finalize your work.

**To create a playblast video file**:

1. From a **3D Scene** or **Cameras** view, open the required file and, if necessary, select the required time range.   
:check_mark: **Tip**: If using a Cameras view, you can select one camera, multiple cameras, or all cameras.
2. As the **View Filters** affect the final render, ensure that they’re set to produce the desired result.
3. When you’re happy with the current view, on the toolbar, click the playblast button:
4. In the **Playblast Video **dialog:
  1. Ensure the resolution is as required (the default is 1920x1080).
  2. Select the required playback speed (the default is 1x). If you select a different speed, the frames rendered and video length are affected, for example, a **Playback speed** of 0.5 specifies playing at half speed, resulting in every 0.5 frames being rendered and the video being 2x as long.
  3. For the **Video File**, enter or select the required path and filename (.*mov*) and when you’re ready to start creating the video, click **OK**:
    In a floating **Playblast View**, your video is rendered:
    A .*mov* file with the name you specified in Step 4c is saved to the specified path.
