The specification for a PC for use with Shogun Post depends on the size of the motion capture system and the quantity of data to be captured and processed.

Note that the minimum recommended monitor resolution is 1080 pixels (1920 x 1080).

> ℹ️ Although the [PC specification for running a Vicon Markerless system](https://help.vicon.com/space/PCSPEC/8585218/Vicon+PC+specifications#Vicon-Markerless-PC-specification) lists the graphics card as NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 (any manufacturer), this is necessary for running Vicon Shogun Markerless. For reprocessing markerless data in Vicon Shogun Post, you can use any of the GeForce RTX 50 or RTX 40 series, eg, 4080 or 4070, although these run at a lower performance level.

## Supported operating systems for Vicon Shogun Post

Shogun Post 1.21 is supported under the following operating system:

- **Microsoft Windows 11**: Compatible with Shogun 1.21, supported and tested.

Although Shogun Post may install and function under other Microsoft Windows operating systems, this is not officially supported or recommended by Vicon.
