With Shogun Post 1.19, you can set up a watched folder so that Post can automatically run batch processes that you set up beforehand. This release of Shogun Post also enables you to include the relevant skins when you export FBX files and to save a video file (.*mov*) from the current 3D view of a Shogun file directly from the Post user interface.

For information on requirements for installing and running Shogun Post, see [PC requirements for Vicon Shogun Post](https://vicon-help.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ShogunPost121/pages/1253739547) in *Installing and licensing Vicon Shogun Post*.

## What's new in Shogun Post 1.19

The following features are new for Vicon Shogun Post 1.19.

### Automate processing while capturing takes

Save time and effort with Shogun Post’s new folder-watching feature, which enables you to automate the reprocessing, cleanup and export of takes as soon as they are captured.

For more information, see [Set up a watched folder to automate processing](https://vicon-help.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ShogunPost121/pages/1253737847/Batch+process+files+in+Shogun+Post#folder-watcher) in *Getting more from Vicon Shogun Post*.

### More convenient playblast

Shogun Post 1.19 enables you to render the current 3D view or Cameras view to a video file (.*mov*) from the user interface, so you can share it with other users and use it for reference. This functionality is already available via the `playblast` HSL command (see [playblast](https://vicon-help.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ShogunPost121/pages/1253737942)) but Shogun Post 1.19 provides a convenient way to access it through the Shogun Post user interface.

## Improvements in Shogun Post 1.19

This improvement has been made to Shogun Post 1.19:

### Include skins in FBX exports

In Shogun Post 1.19 and later, when you export an FBX file, you can choose to include the skin in the export. The export also includes the mesh, bind, materials, textures and UVs for each skin.

To turn on the inclusion of skins in FBX exports, on the **File Export** tab of the **Preferences** dialog, ensure **FBX Motion** is selected in the **File Format** box and select **Export skin(s)**:

For more information on Shogun Post exports, see [Export from Shogun Post](https://vicon-help.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ShogunPost121/pages/1253736812) in *Getting started with Vicon Shogun Post*.

### Improved solving for extreme neck poses

Shogun Post 1.19 includes a new script that supports improved full-body solving, even when capturing notoriously problematic and extreme poses of the neck in Shogun Live.

For more information, see <u>[Adjust neck constraints for better solving in extreme neck poses](https://vicon-help.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ShogunPost121/pages/1253738145)</u> in *Getting more from Vicon Shogun Post*.

## Addressed issues in Shogun Post 1.19

These issues are addressed in Shogun Post 1.19:

- When using the 3D Scene, when hovering over some markers, the label that appears above the cursor gets cropped.
- Installer is orphaned in the Windows directory, resulting in multiple Shogun Post installers appearing when there should only be one.
- Short (1- to 2-second) delay occurring when selecting a bone or after rotating a bone.
- Letter **L** (at the top of the **L**abeling column) missing from View Filters and Subject Management panel.
- When using the HSL command `graphView -paintSelect toggle;`, the Tool icon appearance does not toggle, resulting in inverted behavior.
- Saving while playback is in progress takes longer than when it is not.
- Exporting a VSR from the map clip does not first set the current pose to the preferred pose.
- Using Move Up/Move Down Buttons in the Script Directory causes the directory path to unpredictably appear and reappear.
- The FBX importer renames imported retargeting skeleton bones if they have the same name as a solving bone in the subject.
- The `exit` HSL command doesn't save all settings before closing the application.
- Manual Labeling with Follow Selection enabled gets the selected marker, instead of the labeled marker.
- Batch log text color is not the same as the normal log color.
- Filter preset does not retain the Apply To selection, instead reverting back to Play Range.
- BVH Export doesn’t work for props unless it has a solving skeleton.
- Intermittent crashes when editing parameter values on a labeling skeleton’s bones.
- The ALT key cannot be set as a hot key modifier. The ALT key is reserved for Shogun Post operations, a tooltip has been added for clarification.
- When creating a hot key using the numeric keypad, if you pair it with CTRL, after two reboots of Shogun all hot keys are erased.
- In the 3D Scene context menu that is used to choose which camera to view through, camera names are not displayed the same as they are in the selection view.
- When you set the 3D Scene to use a motion capture camera to view through, the camera faces the wrong direction.
- The buttons to perform a retarget in the Subject Setup panel toolbar and main toolbar are enabled when in map mode.
- Playbasting a single frame causes the system to stop responding.
- Highlighting multiple subjects/objects and clicking visible check box only changes highlighted selection instead of all selected.
