## What's new in Shogun Post 1.18

The following feature is new for Vicon Shogun Post 1.18.

### Support for hybrid tracking with clusters for feet, wrists and/or head

> ![ClusterHybridTracking.png](media://749bbcba-2f5e-4b2e-8b1b-d4c23daaaa7e)

This feature enables you to combine the precision of marker-based tracking for specific performer joints with the convenience and efficiency of markerless performer tracking, by attaching simple marker clusters only where they are needed. You then create the required clusters as props in Shogun Markerless, constrain them to a skeleton and export them from Vicon Post, and import the resulting VSK back into Shogun Markerless.

For more information, see [Work with hybrid tracking clusters from Shogun Markerless](https://vicon-help.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ShogunPost121/pages/1253738982) in *Getting more from Vicon Shogun Post *and [Hybrid tracking with clusters for feet, wrists and/or head](https://vicon-help.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/createpage.action?spaceKey=SMD&title=Hybrid%20tracking%20with%20clusters%20for%20feet%2C%20wrists%20and%2For%20head) in *Getting more from Vicon Shogun Markerless*.

## Improvements in Shogun Post 1.18

These improvements have been made to Shogun Post 1.18:

- **Markerless data quality** - Improvements have been made to markerless performer tracking, enabling you to capture better quality data in terms of both stability and accuracy. These improvements include more accurate wrist rotations, knee bend, foot placement, shoulder motion and improved support for high occlusion poses, such as crossing arms and legs.
- **MetaHuman retargeting** - Automation of setting up of MetaHuman retargets was previously done via script. We have now made this a part of the native UI, available as an Automatic Setup option in the Subject Setup panel > Retargeting tab.
For more information, see [Automate retargeting to MetaHuman](https://vicon-help.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ShogunPost121/pages/1253738008) in *Getting started with Vicon Shogun Post*.
- **Removing profiles **- You can now remove profiles from the Shogun Post splash screen.
- **FBX export options **- FBX export options have been updated to include an option to convert the rotation order of all bones to XYZ.
For more information, see [Export from Shogun Post](https://vicon-help.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ShogunPost121/pages/1253736812) in *Getting started with Vicon Shogun Post*.
- **Solving tree **- The solving tree now features the same right-click options that were previously only available with the retargeting tree.

## Addressed issues in Shogun Post 1.18

These issues are addressed in Shogun Post 1.18:

- The camera still uses Perspective view when you change to an orthographic view in the 3D Scene.
- Device IDs larger than signed int don't import properly into Post, which causes video files to not be found.
- In the Preferences dialog, if you select File Export, and then select FBX as the File Format and change the Frame Rate, when you close the dialog and reopen it, the frame rate has reverted to Current even though FBX exports are still made at the value you specified.
- When you select File > Open, Shogun Post only shows .*vdf* files by default, instead of all supported file types.
