The release of Shogun Post 1.17 introduces support for Vicon’s new Active Wand, our most user-friendly, reliable and consistent calibration tool to date.

## What's new in Shogun Post 1.17

### Support for the latest Vicon Active Wand

Shogun Post now supports the latest Active Wand from Vicon. Equipped with high-intensity LEDs on both sides, Vicon Active Wand (IR only) and Active Wand Hybrid (NIR & IR) are the latest Vicon reference devices for mapping cameras accurately in a motion capture system. They can be used to calibrate both optical and reference video cameras.
