# Description

Renames a parameter. The parameter to be renamed will be looked for on the selected character unless the `-onMod` option is used.

## Syntax

### Arguments

| `parameterName` | String | Yes | The name of the parameter to be renamed. |
| `newName` | String | Yes | The new name of the parameter. |
