To set up your NVIDIA graphics card for use with Shogun Markerless, complete the following steps:

## Check which graphics cards are installed on your PC

1. In Windows Search, start to enter `Device Manager` and when it's displayed, select **Device Manager**.
2. In the Device Manager, expand **Display adapters**.
3. Note the NVIDIA adapter you're using and ensure you've downloaded and installed the latest drivers from the [NVIDIA website](https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/) .

> ⚠️ Make sure your NVIDIA drivers are up-to-date before proceeding.

## Set the Windows display settings

1. Right-click on the Windows desktop and select **Display settings**.
  
2. In Display, scroll to **Related settings** and select **Graphics**.
3. In Graphics settings, under **Customized settings for applications**, click **Add desktop app**.
4. Navigate to the Shogun Markerless 1.## installation folder   
(by default, it's *C:\Program Files\Vicon\ShogunMarkerless1.##*).
5. Scroll to the *ShogunMarkerless.exe* file, select it and then click **Add**.
  
6. In the Graphics settings, scroll to the newly added **Vicon Shogun Markerless**, expand it and from the GPU preference list, select **High performance**.  
(If you're using Windows 10, under Vicon Shogun Markerless, select **Options** and in the Graphics preference dialog, select **High performance** and then click **Save**.)

## Ensure Shogun Markerless uses the NVIDIA graphics card

> ℹ️ **Windows version differences**  
> ℹ️ Note that the following steps are normally only necessary if you are using Windows 10. Under Windows 11, the message “Windows OS now manages selection of the graphics processor” is displayed at the top of the Program Settings tab (as shown in Step 3 onward), so if you're using Windows 11, you can ignore these steps.

1. In Windows Search, start to enter `NVIDIA` and select **NVIDIA Control Panel**.
2. In the NVIDIA Control Panel, under 3D Settings on the left, select **Manage 3D settings**.
3. In Manage 3D Settings on the right, select the **Program Settings** tab.
4. Under **1. Select a program to customize**, click **Add**.
5. In the Add dialog, click **Browse**.
6. Navigate to the Shogun Markerless 1.## installation folder   
(by default, it's *C:\Program Files\Vicon\ShogunMarkerless1.##*).
7. Scroll to and select the *ShogunMarkerless.exe* file and then click **Open**.
8. Back in Manage 3D Settings, under **2. Select the preferred graphics processor for the program**, from the drop down menu, select **High performance NVIDIA processor**.
9. Under **3. Specify the settings for this program**, scroll to **OpenGL rendering GPU**, select it and in the **Setting** column, select the **NVIDIA** setting for your NVIDIA graphics card.
10. Click **Apply** and then close the dialog.
