To set up your NVIDIA graphics card for use with Nexus Insight, complete the following steps:

## Check which graphics cards are installed on your PC

1. In Windows Search, start to enter `Device Manager` and when it's displayed, select **Device Manager**.> Macro (inline-media-image)
2. In the Device Manager, expand **Display adapters**.> Macro (inline-media-image)
3. Note the NVIDIA adapter you're using and ensure you've downloaded and installed the latest drivers from the [NVIDIA website](https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/).

> ⚠️ Make sure your NVIDIA drivers are up-to-date before proceeding.

## Set the Windows display settings

1. Right-click on the Windows desktop and select **Display settings**.
2. In Display, scroll to **Related settings** and select **Graphics**.> Macro (inline-media-image)
3. In Graphics settings, select **Browse** or **Add Desktop app**.> Macro (inline-media-image)
4. Navigate to the Nexus Insight installation folder   
(by default, it's *C:\Program Files\Vicon\NexusInsight*).
5. Scroll to the *NexusInsight.exe* file, select it and then click **Add**.> Macro (inline-media-image)
6. In the Graphics settings, expand **Vicon Nexus Insight**.> Macro (inline-media-image)
7. For **GPU preference**, select **High performance**.> Macro (inline-media-image)
8. If Nexus Insight is running, restart it.

## Ensure Nexus Insight uses the NVIDIA graphics card

1. In Windows Search, start to enter `NVIDIA` and select **NVIDIA Control Panel**.> Macro (inline-media-image)
2. In the NVIDIA Control Panel, under 3D Settings on the left, select **Manage 3D settings**.
3. In Manage 3D Settings on the right, select the **Program Settings** tab.> Macro (inline-media-image)
4. Under **1. Select a program to customize**, click **Add**.> Macro (inline-media-image)
5. In the Add dialog, click **Browse**.> Macro (inline-media-image)
6. Navigate to the Nexus Insight installation folder   
(by default, it's *C:\Program Files\Vicon\NexusInsight*).
7. Scroll to and select the *NexusInsight.exe* file and then click **Open**.
8. Back in Manage 3D Settings, under **2. Select the preferred graphics processor for the program**, from the drop down menu, select **High performance NVIDIA processor**.> Macro (inline-media-image)
9. Under **3. Specify the settings for this program**, scroll to **OpenGL rendering GPU**, select it and in the **Setting** column, select the **NVIDIA** setting for your NVIDIA graphics card.
10. Click **Apply** and then close the dialog.
