The **Data Management** tab of the **Communications** window enables you to create a hierarchical structure in which to store and manage all the data associated with your motion capture trials. For information on how to do this, see [Prepare a data storage location](https://vicon-help.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Nexus220/pages/897713482).

> ✅ **Tip**
> ✅ To toggle the display of the **Data Management** tab, press F2.

> ⚠️ **Offline Data Management/ProEclipse display**
> ⚠️ In Nexus 2.20 and later, if you access Data Management offline (ie, when you’re not connected to the internet), you may find that it is displayed as a gray tab with a small circle on it. To restore its normal appearance and behavior, follow the steps in [Install the Microsoft loopback adapter](#InstallLBAdapter).
