On the **Camera Calibration** tab, you can change the following settings:

## Calibration Setup section

> Macro (scroll-tablelayout)

| **Control** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| **Wand** | Calibration object to be used during the camera calibration process.  
Default: Active Wand v2 |

## Auto Masking section

> Macro (scroll-tablelayout)

| **Control** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| **Start Masking (All)** | Click to start automatically masking infrared light sources. At least one camera must be contributing data. |
| **Cancel** | Click to cancel the current auto-masking operation and restore the previous camera masks. For this button to be enabled, auto-masking must be in progress. |
| **Cameras to Mask** | Select whether to auto-mask the current camera selection or all cameras.  
Default: All Cameras |
| **Slack** | Specify the number of additional pixels to mask around the detected edges. Range 0 to 4.  
Default: 1 px |
| **Clear Previous Masks** | When selected, previous masks are cleared at the start of the masking process.  
Default: Selected |

## Manual Masking section

> Macro (scroll-tablelayout)

| **Control** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| **Start Manual Mask Paint** | Click to start manual masking. For this button to be enabled, at least one camera must be contributing data. |
| **Cancel** | Cancel the current masking operation and restore the previous camera masks. For this button to be enabled, manual masking must be in progress. |

    Calibration Wave section


> Macro (scroll-tablelayout)

| **Control** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| **Start Wave (All)** | Start collecting wand wave data for camera calibration. At least two non-video cameras must be contributing data. |
| **Cancel** | Cancel the current camera calibration operation. |
| **Start Wave (Selected)** | Start collecting wand wave data for calibrating selected cameras. |
| **Auto Stop** | When selected, Evoke automatically stops camera calibration when sufficient data (defined by the number of minimum wands) has been collected.  
Default: Selected |
| **Auto Stop Minimum Wands** | With auto stop selected, the minimum coverage (in number of wands) required per camera before Evoke automatically stops calibration. Range 100 to 10,000.  
Default: 1000 |
| **Auto Stop Minimum Wands (Video)** | With auto stop selected, the minimum coverage (in number of wands) required per video camera before Evoke automatically stops calibration. Range 100 to 10,000.  
Default: 500 |
| **Wand Ratio Tolerance** | Tolerance of the distance between the markers on the wand (expressed as a ratio), to enable it to be labeled in 2D. Range 0.01 to 0.50.  
Default: 0.2 |
| **Wand Straightness Tolerance** | Tolerance in alignment of wand markers (relating to the maximum angle allowed between markers) to enable it to be labeled in 2D.Range 0.01 to 0.50.   
Default: 0.2 |

## Set Volume Origin section

| **Control** | **Description** |

** | Click to start collecting data to set the volume origin. For this button to be enabled, at least two calibrated cameras (not video cameras) must be contributing data. |
| **Cancel** | Cancel the current Set Origin operation. For this button to be enabled, Set Origin must be in progress. |
| **L-Frame** | When selected (the default), the L-Frame object is synchronized with the Wand parameter. The adjacent list enables you to select the object used for setting the origin, if it's different from the wand. |
| **Perform Rescale** | Rescales the calibration using the dimensions of the selected L-Frame object. For more information, see [Scale calibration and set a fixed origin](https://vicon-help.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/Evoke15/pages/10326419).  
Default: Cleared |

## Set Floor Plane section

> Macro (scroll-tablelayout)

| **Control** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| **Start Set Floor Plane** | Click to start collecting data to set the floor plane. For this button to be enabled, at least two calibrated cameras (not video cameras) must be contributing data. |
| **Cancel** | Cancel the current set floor plane operation. For this button to be enabled, Set Floor Plane must be in progress. |
| **Height offset** | Set the amount in millimeters by which to lower the floor plane.  
Default: 7 mm |

## Set Floor Extent section

> Macro (scroll-tablelayout)

| **Control** | **Description** |

** | Click to automatically set the floor extent from the visible floor area. |
| **
****Min X****
** | Set the minimum x-coordinate of the floor plane in millimeters.   
Default: -3,000 |
| **Max X** | Set the maximum x-coordinate of the floor plane in millimeters.  
Default: 3,000 |
| **Min Y/Z** | Set the minimum y- or z-coordinate of the floor plane in millimeters.  
Default: -3,000 |
| **Max Y/Z** | Set the maximum y- or z-coordinate of the floor plane in millimeters.  
Default: 3,000 |

## Auto Number Cameras section

| **Control** | **Description** |

## Recover Camera Position section

** | Click to start collecting track data generated by moving markers to recover the position of the selected camera(s). At least one camera must be selected. You cannot recover the position of a non-contributing camera. |
| **Cancel** | Cancel the current Recover Camera Position operation. For this button to be enabled, Recover Camera Position must be in progress. |
