In the Graph Plots view, the graph plot layout options in the toolbar control the way in which data is displayed.

To display these options, at the top right of the toolbar, select **Show advanced** > Macro (inline-media-image)

> ⚠️ **Note**   
> ⚠️ Changing the layout options affects the display of all graphs within that view, so if you want a different layout for different channels, open another Graph Plot view.

## Choose graph plot components

- Select or clear the check box on a component to show or hide that component. |

## Choose subplot layout type

| ![image](media://e8f8d85a-9483-4466-829b-8b783750fe33) | From the **Subplot** list, select the required layout type:<br>- **Subplot Per Type** (the default layout type)
  - A subplot is created for each component of each channel type.
  - If multiple channels of the same type are active, each subplot has one trace per channel.
- **Single Plot** mode
  - All traces are added to a single plot.
  - If different channel types are plotted in this mode, the axis label shows only common information (if any), such as the units. |

## Choose number of columns

If your layout mode is selected to **Single Plot**, this list is inactive. |
